Have you tried re-assigning the alt-ctrl-w hot key in the MS Word shortcut dialogue? (Or changing/deleting the ctrl-shift-w shortcut key beforehand?) If your shortcut key isn't accepted, try using narrator during the process. (It just could be that JAWS isn't allowing you to make it. However, it could also be that your Windows won't allow ctrl-alt-w to be used on your new computer. Do you get a dong when you try to make your shortcut ctrl-alt-w? If you do, then you may just have to accept ctrl-shift-w.) Another option might be to install Hot Key Detective, which is a program that detects all the keyboard shortcuts on your computer. It is available on the jaws-users programs page.
