One can also rename it (to Word) in the start menu, programs submenu, by using the rename option in its context menu. Try assigning ctrl-alt-w to some other program not Microsoft word, see if that takes, then delete it (if you don't want it). Some Windows XP computers are picky about what (and how) they allow for keyboard shortcuts. Thus, ctrl-alt-w may have worked temporarily, until you restarted your computer or created another shortcut in like manner.
