Then run the search and replace again, and again if need be. Or it's possible you have a symbol between paragraph marks, such as a space or tab. Find an example of extra lines and move character by character to find out what's there. If you post back with the results, there'll be specific answers. I could come up with so many possibilities, I'd be writing all evening.
