Oh, heck! I forgot two preliminary steps in my process: a. Replace all ^t with space b. Replace all double space with space. Repeat b until finished, before proceeding to step 1 in my previous email.

Or it's possible you have a symbol between paragraph marks, such as a space or tab. Find an example of extra lines and move character by character to find out what's there. If you post back with the results, there'll be specific answers. I could come up with so many possibilities, I'd be writing all evening. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of wayne smith Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2017 4:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Deleting extra blank lines in Word doc Thanks-I have a reversal problem I guess. I put in the ^p multiple times (4) and once in the replace field. It told me that it made over 200 replacements but I still have the 4 blank lines between each entry in the list. You could put six of those two-character symbols in the "search" field and either one or two in the "replace field. If you run into problems, please post again. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of wayne smith Sent: Monday, March 20, 2017 7:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Deleting extra blank lines in Word doc Hello- I think this may have been answered before but I can't find it. I am copying and pasting lists from a website into a MS Word 2007 or 2010 doc and I am left with about 6 blank lines before and after each line of text. How can I get rid of the extra blank lines? Thanks in advance for any help.
