hello; in outlook; 1, enter on the message in which you wish to find out the sender's name to spell,
2, shift+tab to the from line, make sure the name/email is highlighted, now use the insert+numpad5 pressed twice quickly. works for me all the time. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Adrian Spratt Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2017 12:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Checking spelling with JAWS cursor In Outlook, JAWS won't read info in the "From" field letter by letter. Instead, set up a reply to the message and arrow down to the "From" line. Then you'll be able to go letter by letter. Just be sure not to hit "Reply"! -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Maria Campbell Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2017 12:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Checking spelling with JAWS cursor For sometime now I have not been able to use my JAWS cursor to check spelling. Example, I'm trying to check the spelling of Eric Damery's last name on the from field in a message. When I route JAWS cursor to pc cursor, JAWS just says blank. What's up with that? I'm using Thunderbird and JAWS 2018. -- Maria Campbell [email protected] "Preach the Gospel, and when necessary use words!" --St. Francis For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
