Hi, In my Asus Eee PC 1015 PE which has a Realtek sound chip, I have no problems with the Realtek HD Audio Manager. Regarding the popup which appears when you connect headphones, usually this window gains the focus when appears and is a fully accessible normal dialog box. Try pressing INSERT+F10 and going to it from the JAWS Window List dialog box. I think you probably have tried this before asking here, but here's the suggestion.

I Have tried searching for the jack selection option in other ways e.g. in control panel, sound and under the advanced and properties tabs to no effect. I Am also having issues with the Dell DW15 dock, when you plug in speakers to this, it will work for a while and then the sound card will drop out. I Have updated the system bios, device drivers and firmware etc and the same thing still happens.
