Same here. I was lost after I lost my eye sight in september of 2004. I had always used the computer for everything I did and then suddenly had nothing but narrator to get me by.
Jaws 6 introduced me back into the computer world in early 2005. At first I hated it, but over time I learned how to use it very well and starting in 2006 I began helping other blind users with my tutorials on BCT and then later on the blind geek zone. Basically Jaws has turned my entire life around and I am happy to have such a product to help me every single day here. It took me over a year to learn jaws to a intermediate to advanced level and have gained greatly by learning it.
