I'm really at a quandary as to why this is happening. I also tried to disable my anti-virus protection, but still, to no avail. On the upside, I did manage to get the entire text of the dialog box. It mentions that the application file for Jaws has failed, and that the program needs to close. It doesn't give me an option to send an error report, even though I've got this turned on, nor does it offer me any reason for it. It only gives me an ok button, which closes the dialog box. Quite frustrated. Again, thanks for your input.
