Hi Victor,

It sounds as if the Windows Installer on your system had gotten into a
state where things stopped working has they should. This can happen,
especially when files are modified over time which can happen when
editing or modifying existing scripts like default. When this does
happen, it is generally more difficult to undo what went wrong, then
just cleaning it and starting over.

There were quite a few people on the list serves that had issues with
the Check for Updates feature but overall, the update process went very
smoothly for the most. I'm sure this one will go smoother for you since
the support guys helped you clean up the WinInstaller and registry
entries associated with it.

Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric,

Not sure if you'll get this message, but did you guys resolve the issue
of the default.jss script file not being able to be compiled with the
newest update?

Just wondering as I don't want to go through what I went through the
other week with Jaws where I had to get one of your techs to send me a
Windows Installer clean up tool to uninstall Jaws.

Can you please shed some light on this?
