Hi Grant, Your issue with the control+alt+down arrow happens with me on occasion also, but not only on Gmail web pages, also on any page utilizing a data table.
I just get to a spot, and it won't go down any further. On some occasions, if I try to go up, it won't go either, or left or right, so I'm not sure what the problem is, as I have checked all my settings and just attributed it to a bug with Jaws. Just so you know that I am able to duplicate it on my system running Jaws 10, latest build, Windows XP Home and IE 7.
