Solid state drives don't function like platter based drives and arn't really 
subject to the effects of fragmentation.

I wonder about solid state drives. This ThinkPad has a 64 gig solid state
hard drive. While the structure might become fragmented I wonder just how
likely it is to interfere with performance. Probably a very little.
