Hi Marilyn
I thought if the verbosity was set to beginner, it did just that, I mean
announce things like hit spacebar to turn this item on or off and hit tab
etc.
it's been so long since I've used jaws with beginner verbosity, I forget how
much jaws chatters.

Hi, Mark. I made the change so thanks very much. Verbosity settings are
new
to me so now I know something I needed to know. I do wish that jaws told
you to hit space bar to change from on to off or vice versa and, also told
you to tab to find out all about each setting. marilyn
