Hi Flor,

Thank you sir. I don't know why I didn't think to go there. I was in the
menues just yesterday learning about other options the OE program offers. I
guess I didn't learn one hell of a lot! LOL Thanks again, take care.
Mike

  Hi Glenn,

Thank you for your response. Now, if I want Jaws to begin reading "
  unread
" again, what keystroke makes Jaws start reading " unread " again?
  Thanks
  again, take care.
  Mike

Hello Mike , when in OE and you bring your new email in you simply can
  do
  a
control A to select all and then do a control Q and you then will not
  hear
the little un read message before your emails.

    Hi Glenn,

Control + Q is not a keystroke that I am familiar with. Would you
  please
tell me what task this keystroke performs? Thanks much. Take care.
    Mike

Here's what I do using OE. Once my messages have come in I simply do
  a
control A to select all and then a Control Q and I then don't hear
  any
  of
      that.

Yes I have tried those suggestions but they are still showing as
  unread.
