If you want, you can turn off Tab Browsing by doing the following:
1. Go to the Tools menu with Alt + t.
2. Select Internet Options by pressing o.
3. Press Tab until you hear the Tabbed Browser Settings button and press
Space to activate. Alt + t will work as well.
4. When the dialog appears, press Space to uncheck the Activate Tabbed
Browsing checkbox.
5. Press Enter to close the dialog.
6. Press Tab until you reach the Ok button and press Space to close the
dialog.
7. It says you will need to restart the computer.
Personally, I like Tabbed Browsing! There are a few extra keystrokes to
memorize, but it is worth it. The main keystrokes I use are:
Shift + Enter Open link in new window (not new)
Control + Enter open link in new Tab in the background (very useful for
interesting links you want to check out later)
Control + Shift + Enter open link in new Tab in the foreground
Control + Tab rotate between Tabs
Control + Shift + q bring up Quick Tab context menu of open Tabs

I am using the latest version of jaws and IE8 browser. I would like to
know if it is possible to go back to IE6 browser? I have used IE7 and and
now using ie8 and I hate the tabs. I would appreciate it if someone could
