David,
I primarily use Jaws 6.2. I recently started playing with NVDA. I have
noticed that Firefox 3.0.13 has started crashing when trying to read the
Google search results page with NVDA. I thought it was just me.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 10 problems after update
Dear list
I have installed Jaws 10 on my new Acer netbook. Jaws had worked perfecgly
on my advent netbook until it died recently.
On the Acer 2 problems have arisen, it seems since I applied the latest
Jaws
update.
1. Frequently when taking the netbook out of standby by pressing a key
Jaws
announces that there has been a problem with authorisation and then tells
me demo mode has expired. I have no choice but to reboot even though I
have
an authorised version of Jaws which has been successfully activated over
the
internet. I have a memory this has been discussed on the list before?
2. For some reason Jaws now finds it impossible to read the Google search
results inMozilla Firefox. If I close Jaws and start up NVDA the results
are
read perfectly normally but if I close NVDA and start Jaws again whilst
the
Google search page is open Jaws instantly falls over and crashes.
Has anybody else had these problems with the jaws update and more
importantly know how to fix this?
Unfortunately I did not follow my usual habit of resisting updates with
the
maxim that if it is not broke - don't fix it!
