At least for Jaws 8 and 9, the shortcut key Alt-Control-J is automatically
assigned if JAWS is installed from the CD. This is not the case if JAWS is
downloaded from the FS web site. I actually have two shortcut keys assigned
to my default version of JAWS, which happens to be JAWS 9: Alt-Control-J
which was assigned automatically when JAWS 9 was installed, and
Alt-Control-9, which I assigned myself. both shortcut keys launch JAWS 9.
You can verify which shortcut keys are pre-assigned and which are user
assigned by installing a little utility called Hot Key Detective, which can
be downloaded from the JAWS Users programs page. Hot keys labeled as
"common" are automatically assigned when the program is installed. Hot keys
labeled as "personal" are user assigned. BTW, the terms"shortcut key" and
"hot key" are synonomous.

Sorry, I don't think the shortcut key is automatically set if you install
JAWS from the CD. If it were, and you already had ctrl-alt-j set for
another version of JAWS, since you can indeed have more than one version
of JAWS on any one computer, confusion would be the inevitable result. I
always must manually set the shortcut key. When i've checked, beforehand
there was no shortcut ctrl-alt-j automatically filled in.

If you installed JAWS from the CD, it is automatically assigned the
shortcut key Alt-Control-J. If this keystroke combination doesn't work
for you, you can create your own JAWS shortcut key by following these
steps:
1. Launch the Desktop by pressing Windows key-M.
2. Press J repeatedly until you land on the JAWS icon.
3. Press Alt-Enter to bring up the JAWS Properties page.
4. Tab to the Shortcut key field, and type in the shortcut key
combination of your choice, like Alt-Control-J or whatever other
combination you prefer.
5. Tab to Apply button, hit Space, then tab around again to the Okay
button and hit Space. That's it. Now, when you press Alt-Control-J or
whatever shortcut key you assigned, JAWS will be launched. HTH.

Do you know how I can make one?

There is no given shortcut key, so you make your own.
