Hello Marilyn:
those directions were right on the money. everything is working just as it
was, before. Once I pressed those three keys, control plus jaws key and the
minus key, it worked.

Albert, I didn't have to do a jaws repair to get my tools back. Actually,
someone back then suggested that as well as system restore which I also
did
not have to do. If you follow the directions I just sent from Donald on
another list, jaws should stop tracking the pc cursor and should, then,
pick
up on the main menus. In my case, the submenus were first up and the main
menus weren't speaking. However, if I did alt plus O, the main menus were
there, hiding. So try David's narrator suggestion to convince yourself
that
the menus really are there. THen, try Donald's suggestions. And if you
aren't on the blind computing list, you migiht want to subscribe as there
are others there to help. marilyn

: Hello there;
:
: you may want to unload jaws,
: bring up narrator,
: and check to see if your OE menus are their.
:
: if so, you may need to do a jaws repair.
: this similar problem happened to someone else on another list, and, my
: suggestion of repairing jaws brought back the normal OE menus.

: Good morning Steve:
: If I perform a system restore as you suggest, won't it delete my
instalation
: of acrobat 9 point 3? then I'll have too go through the process of
: reinstalling all over again. Is it possible, that the version that I
: installed might have been a corrupted while it was being downloaded?
