Thanks for replying. I will probably scan more often than print- and occasionally (but not often) scan larger things like books. It sounds like you are a heavy scanner and this is the reason you mentioned needing a high speed scanner. So then, are the multis quite a bit slower than stand-alones? And, is this true of all multis? Thanks.
