JoAnne, I'm not entirely clear on your issue but think it is similar to the issue I face when I get my gas & electric bill via PDF attachment. The only way I know to convert a PDF image or picture that actually contains text is to print it out on your printer and then scan the printed version back into your computer which will use your OCR program. In my case it is OmniPage version 15. I know this is a pain but that is the way I have found to get around it when needed. Maybe others have something more creative?

There isn't a help file, and there doesn't seem to be menus for conversion or places where you can select a PDF file and folder to browse, etc. I don't even see it in programs in start menu or on desktop. It simply unzips unrecognizable folders but I don't feel it's completely installed.
