Lenny,

Just happened to get my Gas & Electric bill today which is
an image PDF rather than one JAWS will read. I simply put my
cursor on the file and pressed my applications key. The sub
menu of OmniPage (version 15) gave me several options such
as converting to MS Word, excel, text file, RTF, etc. I had
not done it this way in the past but it dos work well. You
can also open Omni Page and select load files and get the
same option of how you want to save or export

PDF to OCR file

Hi,

I found that if you have an image PDF document, you can use
OmniPage
(I have version 15) to scan the file, (not a print of the
image PDF)
and it will convert it to a readable document.

At the moment, I don't remember the steps to go through this
process,
but it has worked for me before.

Of course, this is assuming that you have OmniPage. I do
have an
image PDF and I will try to reproduce the process and let
the list
know how to do it. I should have something in a few days?
