Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] bank of America and links

I'm probably going to open up a real can of worms here, but
this goes back
too something that I really think needs to be addressed. I
have always felt
that web designers, developers and programmers don't really
adhere too the
w3c standards for good web design when it comes to the
proper labeling of
graphics for persons that use screen readers. It may pass
the test for the
first time after the web site has been developed, But if
the designers make
changes too the web page over a series of months, then we as
blind computer
users are screwed. Just when the page works sufficiently
for a blind person
too navigate successfully, the page is no longer user
friendly. Just look
at what the frustration that this lady is going through just
too be able too
use the banks web site. It may look more visually appealing
for the sighted
user, but for the blind, or visually impaired person, it
then becomes a real
night mayer.
