Melissa:
It might be a good idea to wait. Another problem is that it doesn't read
certain messages when I open them. I don't know if it's the ones in html, or
some other factor, but certain messages only say "graphic, graphic,
graphic," all the way to the end. Very frustrating!

Thank you for posting this. I was about to install the same software, but
perhaps it would be advised to not install my 2010 Office Suite until
version 12 is released? I've used the beta version of Office, and had the
same problem with Outlook that you're describing.
Most sincerely,
Melissa

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Help with Outlook 2010
I just bought and installed Outlook 2010 and when I'm in the inbox, JAWS
doesn't read the list of messages as I arrow through it. It will read the
first one, and after that I have to use the "say current line" command to
hear which message I am focused on. Is there some way to make JAWS read
the
list, the same way it does in Outlook Express or Windows Mail? I have
turned
off the reading pane.
It is also doing the same thing with the calendar. When I arrow right or
left, it does not announce the date unless I do the "say current line"
command. Arrowing up and down for the time gives me the same silent
treatment.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Deanne
