Thanks that worked. When I initially save as CSV under My Documents I go
directly to that file and press enter and Excel launches.
But this file seemed empty but when I saved as txt and went back into file
data was there. So again thanks for tip.

Hello Ann,
If you have Microsoft Excel you can export your Outlook Express Address
Book as a comma separated value ( CSV ) file. Then open the .csv file that
you created and load it into Microsoft Excel. Next save the Excel file as
a Microsoft text file. This will produce a text file with each address on
it's own line.
Again here are the steps:
1. Save the address book as a ( csv ) file
2 Load that file into Excel
3. Save that file as a Microsoft text file
4. Open the new text file in your text editor and smile
