I'd' like to try custom highlight assign in the messages in the inbox, but I
am totally ignorant of how to do so. Can you give me an idea where to go,
what menu I need?

Office 2010 support in jaws 11 was all done with the beta.
Your going to need v12 before its fully supported.
You could try custom highlight assign in the list of messages in the
inbox.

I just bought and installed Outlook 2010 and when I'm in the inbox, JAWS
doesn't read the list of messages as I arrow through it. It will read the
first one, and after that I have to use the "say current line" command to
hear which message I am focused on. Is there some way to make JAWS read
the list, the same way it does in Outlook Express or Windows Mail? I have
turned off the reading pane.
It is also doing the same thing with the calendar. When I arrow right or
left, it does not announce the date unless I do the "say current line"
command. Arrowing up and down for the time gives me the same silent
treatment.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
