Inside the jaws settings, you can change your keyboard to laptop. It's
found both in the configurations manager, as well as the general options,
under basics.
Hope this helps my friend.
Warmly,
Melissa

Subject: [JAWS-Users] How do I activate the laptop keystrokes with JFW11?

Hello.

JFW 11 help gives a whole bunch of laptop keystrokes e.g. caps lock plus P
activates the PC cursor and caps lock plus semicolon activates the
Jaws/mouse cursor and so on. I almost always use the external kbd with its
num pad. with this ext kbd connected I did try the above keystrokes and
neither worked anyway close to the couple examples I give above.

do I need to go somewhere on my laptop into some JAWS settings and change
some config setting to laptop or such?

If yes, is there a hot key or a shortcut keystroke combo I can use to
rapidly switch between ext kbd with the num pad and the laptop kbd otherwise
it would be too much of a drag so to speak?

thx.
