Yes, you are right.  The licensing information I gave from Freedom
Scientific really is an activation-related issue.  However, it still might
be that the processor is 32-bit and Windows is 64-bit, in which case the
32-bit JAWS won't work on the 64-bit operating system.  It wasn't clear to
me when the message sender said that the laptop was 32-bit whether the
processor or operating system was being referred to.
