I can't speak to the accessibility of any of the programs you listed but the
first thing that comes to mind is you need to check and see how many of them
or any other programs are running at startup. If even 25% of those that you
have listed then your system is seriously bogged down.

Add to that the fact that net books aren't noted to come with a lot of
memory but I do know some people who have upgraded that feature.

Check out your startup sub menu under programs and your MSConfig to find out
what's running at boot up. Yell for help if you're not comfortable doing the
MSConfig deal as there are several people on here who are qualified to
handle such things.

I have a Toshiba laptop. I uninstalled a lot of the pre-loaded
software. JAWS just did not like their stuff.

Thanks,
Kurt

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Toshiba netbook

Good morning,

My husband bought me a Toshiba netbook. There seems to be a lot of
different
software loaded on this machine and Jaws 12 does not want to read some
of
the dialogue boxes to me. He seems to run sluggish at times and times he
does not talk at all. Any suggestions. Someone mentioned scripts.
