One thing you may want to get sighted assistence with to use is the

Toshiba Recovery Media Creator.

I expect this application will let you create a Restore/Recovery disk that will allow you to restore your machine to factory defaults in case you ever need to reformat your drive. Having this Recovery disk is especially crucial in case your machine did not come with an original widnows installation disk.

Wtih the rest of the Toshiba applications, you might want to try disabling them to see if they are needed by your system.

cheers,

Doris

We can help you with that if you let us know what some of the stuff on there

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up
too.

I have a Toshiba laptop. I uninstalled a lot of the pre-loaded
software. JAWS just did not like their stuff.

Thanks,
Kurt

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Toshiba netbook

Good morning,

My husband bought me a Toshiba netbook. There seems to be a lot of
different
software loaded on this machine and Jaws 12 does not want to read some
of
the dialogue boxes to me. He seems to run sluggish at times and times he
does not talk at all. Any suggestions. Someone mentioned scripts.

Kathy
