WebVisum is used to solve CAPTCHAs, plus a few other little things. It
isn't and wasn't ever needed to use FF with screen-readers. Firefox
alone works perfectly well with screen-readers.

Do you still need that I think it's called Web Visum in
order to make Fire-Fox work with screen readers?
If memory serves, it requires some kind of an invitation or
other secret handshake to gain access to the Web Visum
plug-in.
I am using Jaws 10 and XP-Pro SP3 and didn't find Fire-Fox
to be dramatically superior to IE-7.
The Fire-Fox selling point for me was the feature that
allowed access to captias and I could never get it to work.

JAWS works well with Firefox, there are plenty keyboard
commands, and
there are only a few commands different for it than IE, like
alt-b for
Bookmarks (instead of Favorites). Flash is more of a problem
in Firefox,
where it's not as accessible, than it is in IE. I think
most users find
that to be the case. Try it out, and have both browsers.

I am using Jaws 11 on an XP machine. So far I have stayed
with Internet
Explorer V7.
Adobe Flash has been a problem for me.
Some people, on another list, say, Flash is not a problem
in Fire Fox.
Have any of you tried Fire Fox? Are there Jaws keyboard
commands for
it?Has Flash troubled you by saying it needed to be
installed, even
though you had installed it on a previous occasion? How
different have
you found its commands to be from Internet Explorer 7?
Were you able
to use Google? Were you able to transfer your favorites?
Many thanks in advance for any information! Vicky
