Hi Wayne;

If you want to copy this document from the Internet without all the HTML
crap & paste into a new document do the following;

1. Open your browser & go to the link / webpage you want to copy.
2. Press Insert / Jaws key +V, for Jaws options.
3. Press the letter V, to land on Virtual Cursor options & if it's closed
press the right arrow to open.
4. Arrow down 1 time to, select & copy.
5. Press the spacebar until Jaws reads, select & copy from virtual cursor,
press enter to select & close Jaws options
6. Now you can copy & paste the information without all the HTML stuff.

Hope this helps.  Take care.
Mike

  I am using JAWS 11 but will move up shortly. I want to create a "clean"
  Word doc that I can share with others that does not have links indicated
at
  all.

  If you are using Jaws v12 a better option to avoid hearing links spoken is
  to invoke "scheme Say all text only" under say all menu in IE. Use Jaws
key
  v and find the say all option using spacebar cycle through the options
until

  you hear "scheme say all text only." When you press enter you will no
longer

  hear links spoken when you use the say all command, unless you read line
by
  line on the page.

  Hi Alan;

Thanks
  much.  Take care.

    If you are using JAWS 12 you can turn them off so you only
    hear a click in the background

    You probably could remove "links" if you saved the page as a
    text-only
    document.

    Probably a better solution is to invoke the SayAll scheme
    with sounds.  This
    makes a click but doesn't say "link" when it encounters a
    link.
    Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.
