Thank you for your reply.  Eventually I had her boyfriend uninstall the 
wireless keyboard & plug in another keyboard but,  some keystrokes still 
don't work.  She can't sit at the computer for longperiods of time so, it's 
hard to get very much done at 1 sitting.  I have all the folders unhidden 
through the View Page so, if Local Disk C, was there I should be able to see 
it.  All the folders you would normally find under Local Disk C, are there 
but, as sub-folders in 2 other folders.  It is going to take some time to 
get this computer figured out but, it will get done, maybe!  LOL  Thanks

  The computer will only respond to one keyboard at a time. I would
  unplug the ps2 and see if problem and do same with other.
  Now for the drive it may be under a different name or may be labeled
