I have used 2 key boards in the past at the same time without so much as the
smallest glitch.

Hi Mike;

Thank you very much for the tips. This computer is so screwed up that I
think they have decided to wipe it clean & do a fresh install. I will keep
the information you provided on hand for future references. Thanks again,
take care.
Mike

  Hi

  If some of the keys on her keyboard(s) are not acting as expected, one
thing
  to check is the Regional and Language Options in Control Panel. I got an
  old laptop from my daughter and was having trouble with some keys until I
  looked there and found that the language was set to English (UK) and the
  location was set to UK. Set the language to English (United States) and
the
  location to United States. Another thing to check is Keyboard in Control
  Panel and the keyboard type on the hardware tab should be Standard
  101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 K... Keyboards

  Hi Tim;

  Thank you for your reply. Eventually I had her boyfriend uninstall the
  wireless keyboard & plug in another keyboard but, some keystrokes still
  don't work. She can't sit at the computer for longperiods of time so,
it's
  hard to get very much done at 1 sitting. I have all the folders unhidden
  through the View Page so, if Local Disk C, was there I should be able to
see
  it. All the folders you would normally find under Local Disk C, are there
  but, as sub-folders in 2 other folders. It is going to take some time to
  get this computer figured out but, it will get done, maybe! LOL Thanks
  again, take care.
  Mike

    The computer will only respond to one keyboard at a time. I would
    unplug the ps2 and see if problem and do same with other.
    Now for the drive it may be under a different name or may be labeled
    system and those devices are not shown.
    Would have to show then in the folder options.
