Dear Alan, You can change the way lines are indicated via the text processing option under the jaws configuration menu from within a word document with jaws 11.
Just press jaws key together with the number 6, then alt s, then arrow to text processing where you enter and go through the options. There are at least three different options relating to line indication in jaws 11. Choose and save your settings.
