Save will save the document generally with the same title and format. Save as will allow you to save the document as a different file name and often, you can tab over once and choose from a variety of different formats depending upon the program.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Save v Save as

I have XP and 12.0
What is the difference between "Save" and "Save as"?
When would you use save as?

Thanks.

Rich
