I just use windows key and e to open computer and from there you can easily
navigate to others from there

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows7 Start Menu Folders
Hi David,
I put shortcuts to Local Disk / Drives C, D, E, F, G, & H, on the desktop.
Then, I assigned shortcut keystrokes to each of them, & none of the shortcut
keystrokes worked. I am assuming that the Local Disks can be considered as
folders, is my assumption correct? I was able to assign shortcut keystrokes
to individual items but, not to what I am assuming are folders. If I am
wrong, please correct me! I am not done experimenting yet but, if you have
any tips, please pass them along! Thanks much, take care.
Mike

Hi Larry,
Thank you for the items tip but, I can't seem to be able to put a folder
into the start menu. What I want to do is put shortcuts for my disk
drives
into the start menu so, I can assign shortcut keystrokes to them. I tried
putting folder shortcuts on the desktop but, the shortcut keystrokes
wouldn't work from the desktop. I have no idea why they wouldn't work
but,
they didn't so, I thought I would try from the start menu. Any ideas
would
be appreciated very much. Thanks again, take care.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows7 Start Menu Folders
Hi all,
How can I add folders or individual items to the start menu like I was
able
to do in XP? All help will be graciously accepted & greatly
appreciated.
Thanks much, take care.
Mike
