  hmmmm, there are some notes on making desktop link shortcut keys in my
  windows 7 helpful notes on my grab bag site (address/link under my name),
  and if that doesn't get it for you, you could try a program called winkey
  off the:
  www.jfwlite.com/programs
  page, it was made for windows XP, and gave you the ability to make hot 
keys
  that used the windows key, and had several for drives already set up that

  believe you can edit.

  some windows XP tools work just fine, and this one is unusual enough to
  possibly be one of them!
