hmmmm, there are some notes on making desktop link shortcut keys in my
windows 7 helpful notes on my grab bag site (address/link under my name),
and if that doesn't get it for you, you could try a program called winkey
off the:
www.jfwlite.com/programs
page, it was made for windows XP, and gave you the ability to make hot keys
that used the windows key, and had several for drives already set up that I
believe you can edit.
some windows XP tools work just fine, and this one is unusual enough to
possibly be one of them!

Hi Larry,
Thank you for the items tip but, I can't seem to be able to put a folder
into the start menu. What I want to do is put shortcuts for my disk
drives
into the start menu so, I can assign shortcut keystrokes to them. I tried
putting folder shortcuts on the desktop but, the shortcut keystrokes
wouldn't work from the desktop. I have no idea why they wouldn't work
but,
they didn't so, I thought I would try from the start menu. Any ideas
would
be appreciated very much. Thanks again, take care.
Mike

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Windows7 Start Menu Folders
Hi all,
How can I add folders or individual items to the start menu like I was
able
to do in XP? All help will be graciously accepted & greatly appreciated.
Thanks much, take care.
Mike
