Well, using the copy content from full screen option instead of from virtual cursor will certainly be an improvement! (grin)

Thank you very much for your input. I think the problem is the way I copied the web pages. I used the from virtual cursor option, instead of the full content from on screen highlight option. But, being this is something I'm attempting to learn about, I will try using Notepad as the editor instead of

If your friend didn't format his html, let alone correctly, then you're
 both 'headed' for trouble. beyond that, I'd rather pass it to someone
 who has reviewed someone's proposed Web page and possibly has
amended/improved it, to comment further, than to say that I don't think Microsoft word is the best reviewing option there is. Notepad - slow as
 it is - may be better at the essentials.
