yes it will work on XP, I have five machines running it in both main
versions and have had no trouble with it or with authorizations, hmmmm, in
the case your having I'd make sure you have authorizations available to you,
load j 11 or 12 on the win 7 machine and validate it (don't forget to run in
administrator mode) and then install j13 (again specifying admin mode)

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem Activating JAWS 13
Hi All,
I got JAWS 13 installed on the Win 7 machine, but only in 40 minute mode.
I downloaded it from the FS site and, when I inserted the authorization
disk, was greeted with an auto play dialogue that I’ve never seen before
and I don’t know if my inability to use it properly had anything to do
with the activation error I received later on in the process. I think it
said the number was invalid. How is the thing supposed to be dealt with?
Other than uninstalling and starting over with the J13 CD/DVD, how do I
try again? Will J13 run on XP Home? At least maybe I can find out if the
authorization disk is the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Margaret
