I have a remedy for habitual forwarded messages to my personal accounts, it's a message rule that deletes from the server. Completely does away with those annoying folks that don't get the meaning of the N, or the O.

I'm just glad hardly any of those folks who forward me messages never ask if I ever take the time to read them. David Ferrin "Beauty fades but dumbness is forever." However, I would not say that it is proper netiquette to always top post. The vast majority of lists that I am on that are not blindness related do not top post. Also, many of the web based question and answer forums do not top post. I do feel that it is proper netiquette to spend the 30 seconds it takes to remove header information, and extraneous text when leaving your comments below the original post. And, I believe there is a special place in hell for people who forward without removing all the previous header information. -- Blue skies. Dan Rossi Carnegie Mellon University.
