Alternatively, in Microsoft word: Press Insert+6; then type, Scheme ; the first of the results is highlighted and is the one we're interested in. Now press the F6 key. and from the list of 21 or more choose either classic or word Classic, by arrowing. OK your change.

This slightly different approach may fix all of your problemsms, as it would have in any case.

-- Enter the Config Settings with JAWSKey+6;

-- Press ctrl+Shift+d for DEFAULT;

-- Now in the Search box, type: Scheme ;

-- You will get a list of about six results. The first of these is the one we're interested in: Speech & Sounds Scheme;

-- Now press the F6 key.

-- You are at a combo box. In it, choose Classic Scheme, 2 of 21.

OK your change.

Done.

I can't believe it but, I'm still having issues with JAWS 13 in word.
Now, when I am reading in word, at the end of each sentence, I hear "paragraph mark"
At the end of the last line, I hear "new line"
I did merge the JAWS12 settings, which worked fine, when installing 13,
Are there recommended settings for word?
I hate bothering you with all of these issues.

Thanks, once again!

Rich

Hi Rich,

Also, when in a Word document, try the keystroke Control, Shift, + 8 on the
number row. This temporarily stops formatting from being spoken.

Now, try this for your Say All problem;
1. Insert + V, for quick settings.
2. Arrow down once or twice to get out of the Search edit box. Now, tap the
letter S, until you come to SayAll Options.
3. Arrow down to, Capitalization and make sure this says, ignore. If it doesn't, press the spacebar until it does & press enter to save the changes
& close.

Hope this helps.  Take care.
Mike

 Thanks so much!
 This worked.

Do you have any suggestions on to change the way JAWS speaks any word with
a
 capital letter with a higher pitch?
Again, this only happens when I am readinga say all instead of one line at
a
 time.
