If you want to toggle back and forth between windows, just pressing Alt
+ Tab each time should do what you want.  Each time it is used, it will
go to the last active window. 

To complicate matters even more.  In multi-document applications, like
Excel, you can cycle through all open Excel windows with Control + Tab. 
Adding the Shift key cycles in the opposite direction.
