Insert plus f 10 will also bring up a list of open windows. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike O'Brien Sent: Saturday, October 27, 2012 1:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Controlling how alt+tab works
Hi Switching between windows with the alt+tab keys is a Windows function and does not involve JAWS. I believe that when you press those keys, you go back through the windows starting with the most recently opened to the first window in the chain that was opened. If you want to go to a specific window, try JAWSkey+f10 which will open the JAWS window list dialog which will show a list of all open windows. Arrow to the window you want and press enter. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Greg Washington Sent: Saturday, October 27, 2012 11:12 To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Controlling how alt+tab works Is there any way to control how Jaws uses the alt+tab key to move from one open window to another? I would like to have that key command go from a specific window to another specified window when I have more than two or three windows open. Alternatively is there any way of knowing the logic Jaws uses when moving from one open window to another? I am using Jaws 13 latest release on a windows 7 machine. Thanks for any help on this matter.
