I would hold off, Microsoft may have another Vista, on their hands. You can get a program called, "Classic Shell", that will give you the familiar Windows classic start menu, but you still need to deal with ribbons in Windows Explorer if my memory serves me correctly. As far as an upgrade, I would prefer to do a clean install of an O/S instead of an upgrade from a existing version of Windows.
