Windows Ultimate is Windows Professional with some added features. You
will need the pro version of Jaws to use it.

Hi,
I am in the process of purchasing a new Dell desktop computer with
Windows7. I was considering the business class which I would have to
upgrade my standard version of Jaws to the pro version.
I normally would have purchased a new computer with home edition, but I
want to avoid all the junk that comes with it and purchase one that
meets my specific requirements.
So, I am wondering what is windows ultimate and is that the better way
to go instead of the business class? Is there a way to compare Ultimate
with business class and home edition? Do I need the pro version of Jaws
for Ultimate?
One of the problem that I am having is to get the Dell rep include a
second sound card for Jaws. Is it just as well to use an USB sound card
for Jaws and is the quality just as good as a regular sound card?
Sorry for a lot of questions, but I want to cover all my basis before I
invest in a new computer and end up with something that I will not be
happy with.
Thanks so very much for any comments and suggestions. Take care.
