In my experience ultimate has some things that pro does not but in my case
they aren't anything I need.

You will need JAWS pro for anything that does not have home in it's name. \

USB sound cards work great, I have quite a number of them and for around $15
you get all that you need for JAWS.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] what is Windows Ultimate?

Hi,

I am in the process of purchasing a new Dell desktop computer with
Windows7. I was considering the business class which I would have to
upgrade my standard version of Jaws to the pro version.

I normally would have purchased a new computer with home edition, but
I want to avoid all the junk that comes with it and purchase one that
meets my specific requirements.

So, I am wondering what is windows ultimate and is that the better
way to go instead of the business class? Is there a way to compare
Ultimate with business class and home edition? Do I need the pro
version of Jaws for Ultimate?

One of the problem that I am having is to get the Dell rep include a
second sound card for Jaws. Is it just as well to use an USB sound
card for Jaws and is the quality just as good as a regular sound card?

Sorry for a lot of questions, but I want to cover all my basis before
I invest in a new computer and end up with something that I will not
be happy with.

Thanks so very much for any comments and suggestions. Take care.

Lennie
