FYI, if you have problems with a built in sound card. The only thing
you can try is a PCI sound card or USB type. Because the only way to
fix a built in sound, or video problem is with a new motherboard. The
only thing sound cards do is provide sound and you can have as many
as you need, but only one can handle system sounds.

Rich: Sound cards are just how, the computer is used to handle
sound. Some of them are integrated, meaning that if you have a
problem, chances are you'll need more then one part replaced if
something goes wrong. There are separate ones which only handle
sound, such as if someone were to be on a radio station and wanted
one for their speech, and one for their music. hope i explained somewhat.
