Hello,
I usually set up a hot key through the properties menue.
Go to jaws, but don't open it, press the application key/shift +F10.
Down arrow to Properties and enter or just press R.
Then, just follow the menu using the tab key
When you are done setting it up don't forget to use the apply then the ok
button.
The quick key command should be control + alt J or if you press control + J
only for some reason the alt is automatically entered for you.
Jorge

It's strange that launching JAWS from run doesn't work in your system.

When you have shut down JAWS, tgo to your Windows Run box (Windows r) and
there type in jaws14 (unspaced); and Then press ENTER.
When you attempt to set up the hot key, do not shift+tab back while doing
it. Just go forward with the tab key.
