Hi, I did see the PST folder in my documents in my wind7 machine, but when I tried to open it it did not open. And said, I had to open it from Outlook. But, where in Outlook?
How do I copy the PST file manually in wind 7? Your help would be appreciated. The line below is what I had copy from the email path that was posted, but it's not the actual directions on how to copy the PST? "C:\Windows7\Documents\Outlook filesouxxxpst" Thanks, Jorge -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Annette Carr Sent: Saturday, November 30, 2013 8:25 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Saving E-mails When creating/setting up a PST you can choose what Outlook data is stored in it. This can include your contacts, your inbox, mail folders, outlook notes, and probably other thing that I am not aware of. Yes, you will need outlook to access the information stored in a PST file. You can have multiple PST files, each with a different name. If you are looking for a way to save 1 or more e-mails so that you can read them in MS-Word, you can use the SaveAs option on the File Menu. You can select one or more messages to save in one file. You are sometimes limited in what format the messages can be saved in, and I do not have a clear understanding to what makes the available options change. One downside to using the save as option is when you have multiple e-mails from the same conversation that all include the various chains of messages within that conversation. I have gone through multiple Blind CPU training courses/sessions, and that specific term was never used or spoken when dealing with Outlook Contacts. Now that I know and understand what is, and was being discussed, is Greatly Appreciated.
