what about the 'always use the cursor keys to navigate within pages' option- it's unchecked by default? Sounds like a good thing for JAWS...

Following the steps also allow you to use the Jaws cursor if it's needed at some point: You can use the JAWS Cursor & navigate with arrow keys in Firefox after turning off Firefox's hardware acceleration setting. 1. In Firefox, press ALT+T to open the Tools Menu and then choose Options. 2. From the Advanced options, choose the General tab. 3. Press TAB to move to the Use Hardware Acceleration when Available checkbox. Press the SPACEBAR to clear it, then press ENTER to close the dialog box. 4. Close & reopen Firefox. HTH Take care. What would cause the virtual pc cursor to suddenly stop working when I'm on a web page? Although when I press jawskey+z it says virtual pc cursor off, which means it was already on but I cannot arrow anywhere on the page? The version of firefox I have is 300.0 **** If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning start?
